National Research shows that students╠řwho participate in internships are more likely to be hired and more likely to remain with that employer

What Is An Internship?

An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skill development in a professional setting.╠ř Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths; give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent. Internships must be approved by the faculty and Career Services prior to beginning the internship.

Every 40 hours of work experience is equal to 1 academic credit hour; the maximum number of credit hours per semester is 6. ╠řThe maximum number of internship credit hours is 12.
